I have spent more than 15 years in the field of healthcare communications and patient education, producing digital content for patients and physicians, and planning live events around the world. My passion for healthcare is driven by collaboration with physicians and patients to empower, educate, and inspire better outcomes. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in college, I discovered that being vigilant about your health is paramount to overall wellness.
I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science. In my spare time, you can find me at a local yoga class or researching my next travel destination.

My experience in healthcare communications spans more than 20 years, with an emphasis on online/digital patient education. I am passionate about creating in-depth information and educational tools to help inform and inspire patients and their loved ones. I have experienced first-hand the positive impact that patient empowerment and self-advocacy have on one’s care and outcomes.
I have a degree in Communications/Editorial Journalism from the University of Washington. When I’m not working on projects for HCC, you’ll find me spending time with friends and family or outside, exploring the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
